Entering the Building
You’ll enter through our main doors (opposite side of building from S. Green Bay Rd) into a large atrium (narthex). Moving forward from the main doors through the next set of doors, go up one of the uphill ramps to enter the back of the worship space (sanctuary). Pick up a printed bulletin at the top of the ramps to follow the worship order for the service. If you desire to take communion at your seat during worship, pick up a prepackaged communion cup from one of the baskets take it to your seat with you. (Wine/bread, juice/bread, and wine/gluten-free bread options are all available.) Or come forward to the altar to receive communion during the service--we practice an "open table", welcoming believers of all kinds to this holy meal at Christ's invitation.
Bathrooms are found in the narthex (entryway) on either side (mirrored walls).
For the Littles
We welcome children at worship—wiggles and all! There's an area set up just for young families (our "prayground!") on the far right side side of the sanctuary, upper rows of seats (behind the bell tables) with a small table/chairs, toys, and coloring pages. A changing table is available in the entryway bathroom on the left (mirrored cube) as you enter the building. Another changing table is even closer to the sanctuary, through the swinging door to the right of the piano, and then an immediate right. The unstaffed nursery room is also available if you need a quiet or contained space. It's found under the sanctuary...go down the ramp to the right as you enter, and make a U-turn at the Noah's Ark mural at the bottom. You can listen to the service through a speaker in the sanctuary.
Join us between Sunday services in the Fellowship Hall (large room under the sanctuary) for our great, fresh-ground local coffee! During the school year, you'll often find a treat to nibble on along with your brew. In the summertime, look for the coffee cart in the narthex or outside!
