Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church is proud to support/manage 4 different food ministries (Open Table, Community Meal, Little Free Food Pantry, & Holy Communion Food Pantry.)

Holy Communion Food Pantry

Donations can be brought to church during office hours or at worship times, and placed in the appropriate labeled bins in the entryway (left side of narthex).

Little Free Food Pantry - MPLC

The Little Free Food Pantry stands on a grassy area within the parking lot at MPLC. This Little Free Food Pantry is available to all passersby to take as needed.

BE A CARETAKER

Community Meal

In partnership with other Racine congregations, MPLC takes a turn once a quarter providing and serving a meal at Living Faith Lutheran Church. Volunteers are asked to purchase or prepare food, deliver the food to Living Faith Lutheran Church, serve, and clean-up. Dates for 2025: March 2, June 1, October 5, and Nov. 2.

COMMUNITY MEAL

Open Table

Open Table is a free restaurant-style meal served in our Fellowship Hall on the third Sunday of each month. We serve our guests with style, offering them good food, warm hospitality, and an enjoyable evening out.

Volunteers are needed to work as set-up crew, host/ess, servers, dessert area, kitchen crew, dishwashers, clean-up crew and more. Volunteers are also invited to be a dessert baker or to donate ingredients for each meal.
