Learning and growing in faith is a joyful responsibility of all disciples of Jesus. MPLC offers learning opportunities for toddlers through adults. Learn more about our offerings for young people below:
Sunday School
3 year old - Kindergarten
Godly Play
At MPLC preschool through kindergarteners learn through Godly Play, a Montessori-based Sunday School program. This teaching style allows children the freedom to move about the classroom, choosing from a variety of activities that reinforce the weekly Bible lesson.
1st - 8th Grade
Sunday School
Each child counts in MPLC's Bible-based Sunday School program, offered on the school year calendar. Grade-level classes for elementary and middle school students, led by caring and dedicated teachers, take place in the lower levels of the education wing Sundays from 10:15-11:00 AM
Senior High Youth
Senior High Youth Night programs are offered in partnership with Lutheran Church of the Resurrection on Sundays from 6-7:30 pm. We have various retreats, activities, and service projects for High School Youth throughout the year. Each summer we also take a week-long mission trip. In past years, high school students from MPLC have traveled to serve in Toledo, Detroit, St. Paul, the Boundary Waters, New Orleans, Puerto Rico, South Dakota, and more!
