Environmental Stewardship

Mount Pleasant is a member of the Racine County Green Congregations.  As a green congregation, our mission is to be good stewards of God’s creation, caretakers and protectors of what God has given us.  We are always seeking ways to live responsibly as a church and use products that are kind to the earth.  Each month a portion of the newsletter, the Pleasant Spirit, is devoted to environmental stewardship.  We have a “Green Team” committee at Mount Pleasant whose task it is to help us as a congregation become aware of environmental stewardship and provide information and encouragement to live in a sustainable way with creation.
